In line with previous years, the Board of the Pension Protection Fund (the PPF) has recently issued a Consultation report setting out its proposal’s for the calculation of the PPF levy for 2009/10.
To a large extent, there are no fundamental changes over the method of calculating the PPF levy for 2008/9, although some aspects of the proposals represent a welcome development over the approach taken in previous years. Whilst subject to consultation, the proposals are considered firm and are unlikely to change.
