DIRECTIONS FROM THE M4

Leave M4 at Junction 19 (M32) heading towards Bristol
Follow signs to City Centre
M32 becomes Newfoundland Street which leads through the city centre (with House of Fraser on your left) to a large roundabout. Take the 2nd exit marked ‘Clifton’ into Marlborough Street past the Bus Station.
Continue on this road, going through a set of pedestrian crossing lights (Bristol Royal Infirmary on your right) and two sets of traffic lights. Go through a third set of traffic lights (Bristol University and the Wills Memorial Building on your right).
After the next pedestrian crossing bear round to the right taking the left hand lane through another pedestrian crossing towards the Victoria Rooms (large fountain in front). Take the exit to the left of the Victoria Rooms continuing along Queens Road.
You will come to a double mini roundabout. Go straight across the first keeping in the right hand lane and then turn right at the second into Pembroke Road.
Take the second turning left into Clifton Park having passed Channings Hotel on your right.
Follow this road up the hill, past Clifton High School on your right and Christ Church on your left.
Turn right at the T junction and you are in Litfield Place (which is not named on the map as it is a very short extension to Clifton Down).
6-7 Litfield Place is on your right, on the brow of the hill, opposite a Junction of a road leading to the Clifton Suspension Bridge on your left.

DIRECTIONS FROM THE M5

Leave M5 at Junction 19 onto the A369
Follow signs for Clifton / City Centre / Suspension Bridge, along Martcombe Road
Carry all the way along: Martcombe Road becomes Haberfield Hill, becomes Pill Road becomes Abbots Leigh Road. It's about 4.5 miles from the M5 to the suspension bridge turnoff
Take a left onto Bridge Road opposite the entrance to Ashton Court, following signs to the suspension bridge
Cross over the suspension bridge. You'll need 50p in silver (not 5ps) to pay at the tollgate, but it's worth the view!
After the suspension bridge, take the 1st left and at the T-junction at the far end of that road, you are facing 6-7 Litfield Place. Please note that Litfield Place is not named on the map as it is a very short extension to Clifton Down.
