BBS receives Quality Assurance Scheme accreditation from Institute and Faculty of Actuaries
BBS News posted on 12 April, 2016
BBS is delighted to announce that it is one of the first firms to have received accreditation under the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries’ new Quality Assurance Scheme (QAS).
The QAS accreditation was awarded following a rigorous 12 month assessment, in which BBS was required to demonstrate the application of policies and procedures in the areas of:
- quality assurance (including work review);
- communication with our clients;
- conflicts of interest;
- staff development; and
- the handling and resolution of any issues of concern.
This voluntary accreditation is further confirmation that BBS is meeting its objective of providing the highest quality of advice to our clients, while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism in everything that we do.
If you have any questions regarding the QAS, please contact Paul Bunzl, the BBS Director responsible for actuarial services, or your usual BBS contact.
