BBS strengthens actuarial team
BBS News posted on 12 September, 2016
As part of our continuing expansion, BBS is pleased to announce the appointment of two new consulting actuaries, Jenny Richards and Mark Channon, who join us from Punter Southall and Mercer respectively. Jenny and Mark bring a wealth of experience to further strengthen our actuarial and investment services.
In addition, we are delighted to advise that Kylie Arbon and Julia Pardoe have recently passed their final exams to achieve FIA status, both of whom started their actuarial training with BBS. This means that BBS now has 16 fully qualified actuaries.
Our actuarial and investment teams work together to provide our clients with a truly joined-up service. This enables us to create the very best solutions for the effective management of occupational pension schemes, including the development of an appropriate integrated risk management (IRM) framework, in line with the Regulator’s best practice guidance.
Earlier this year, we also launched our investment service for larger defined benefit schemes, offering trustees and sponsors a simpler and lower cost alternative to full fiduciary management. This service is designed for schemes who want to establish a more risk-focused investment strategy with an improved governance framework, but don’t want or need the full fiduciary solution.View our briefing note on integrated risk management Download our risk-focused investment solutions brochure
