Research conducted by the Society of Pension Professionals (SPP) has revealed that 79.3% of SPP members felt that the current pension system is unfair on young people, and that 51.2% believed it to be unfair on the self-employed.

SPP President Hugh Nolan commented "Despite pension reform being a major focus for the Government over recent years, it is clear that the current system in the UK favours certain groups over others."
