Frustration at delays to Pensions Dashboard

A delay in the publication of DWP feasibility study, which details the types of data which the Government is going to request from providers as part of the pension dashboard project, has been met with dismay by providers and industry figures.
The Director of Policy at Royal London, Sir Steve Webb, said the delay was "deeply frustrating", adding that whilst it should be straightforward for modern schemes to collate the data requested by the Government, it may prove more difficult for legacy pension schemes. The delay in this study, which is now two months overdue, will only compound this issue as providers have to wait longer for confirmation on the types of data they are to provide.
