Having become a legal entity in October 2018, the Government's Single Financial Guidance Body (SFGB) has now officially adopted its delivery functions. The SFGB consolidates the services of several other entities; namely the Money Advice Service, the Pensions Advisory Service and Pension Wise.
The SFGB lists five core functions on its website, including advice and consumer protection. The organisation will also adopt a new name in 2019 as it develops a new outreach strategy, which is expected to include a new integrated service offer and enhanced partnership working within the wider industry, employers and stakeholders.
