Hymans Robertson update on buy-ins and buy-outs

According to data published by Hymans Robertson, the total value of buy-out and buy-in deals carried out in Q2 2010 was around £2.2bn.

The market has been dominated during the year so far by Rothesay Life, Pension Insurance Corporation, MetLife, Legal & General, Aviva and Lucida, a trend which looks set to continue during the remainder of 2010.
