Quality Assurance Scheme accreditation from Institute and Faculty of Actuaries
In 2016 BBS became one of the first firms to receive accreditation under the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries’ Quality Assurance Scheme (QAS).
The QAS accreditation was awarded following a rigorous 12 month assessment, in which BBS were required to demonstrate the application of policies and procedures in the areas of:
- quality assurance (including work review);
- communication with our clients;
- conflicts of interest;
- staff development; and
- the handling and resolution of any issues of concern.
This voluntary accreditation recognises that BBS is meeting its objective of providing the highest quality of advice to clients, while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
